Project Substitution Requests:

Review & comment for alternate products or manufacturers.

Project Coordination: 

Attend meetings for hardware and security coordination.

Security Coordination:

Coordinate electrified hardware with electrical, security and low voltage engineer.

Respond to questions:

Assist in answering Requests for Information (RFI) during both the pre-bid and post-bid phases.

Product substitution:

Review and assistance with  product comparison.

Submittal Review:

Verify submitted products meet the specification and design intent. Make notes on discrepancies.

Change Orders:

Review and assistance with preparation and cost analysis.

Field Verify:

Hardware installed matches product submitted and operates as specified. Inspect doors and frames and report any deficiencies.

Electrified hardware:

Verify hardware is operational as specification and operational narratives.

Fire rated openings: 

Insure NFPA requirements are met. Includes hardware installation, door clearances around perimeter of frame and fire label visibility. 

Punch List:

Prepare a field project door punch using designated punch software program.

Field Verification:

Survey existing openings to determine hardware manufactures and usage function types. Inspect doors and frames for any deficiencies.

Electrified hardware:

Verify access control hardware type. Asses the security provider and requirements.

Fire rated openings: 

Insure NFPA requirements are met. Includes hardware installation, door clearances around perimeter of frame and fire label visibility.

Door Hardware Function Guide:

Provide a descriptive narrative of the desired hardware by room/usage type.

Door Hardware Specification:

Provide a full specification with the typical hardware sets per building type.

Facilities Coordination: 

Attend meetings with user groups for hardware and security coordination.

AHC Review:

Provide the QA/QC review of your submittals to comply with the specification requirements.

Electrified hardware:

Verify access control hardware functionality and provide discerption of operations as required. Asses the security provider and requirements.

Full Submittal Package: 

Create a full submittal package for door hardware, hollow metal or wood doors. You can choose one or all submittal.

Door Hardware Specifications:

Ghost write hardware specification per your requirements.

Provide the QA/QC review of your specifications.

Field Verification:

Survey existing openings to determine hardware manufactures and usage function types. 

Site Punch:

Provide a survey of the final project conditions for the hardware and doors to assure proper functioning and report any damages or installation errors.
